Welcome to PetMeeter – Pet Dating (“PetMeeter”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By downloading, accessing, or using our mobile application (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).
If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
PetMeeter is operated by Gauthier de GINESTET, an individual entrepreneur based in France.

1. About PetMeeter
PetMeeter is a pet-focused social discovery and matching platform that allows pet owners to connect, interact, and communicate through a match and chat system.
PetMeeter only provides a digital platform.
We do not organize, supervise, verify, control, or guarantee any real-life meetings or interactions between users or their animals.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
By using PetMeeter, you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years old
- you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms
- you will comply with all applicable laws
3. User Accounts
To use the App, you must create an account.
You agree to:
- provide accurate and truthful information
- keep your login credentials confidential
- be responsible for all activity under your account
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
PetMeeter is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your negligence.
4. Responsibility for Pets and Meetings
You are fully and solely responsible for:
- your own behavior
- your pet’s behavior
- your pet’s health, vaccinations, and safety
- any meetings or interactions with other users
PetMeeter does not verify pets, owners, or backgrounds.
All real-life meetings occur entirely at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PetMeeter shall not be liable for:
- injuries
- bites or animal fights
- property damage
- losses
- disputes
- accidents
- or any incident arising from user or animal interactions
5. User-Generated Content
You may upload:
- profile information
- pet photos
- descriptions
- messages and communications
You confirm that:
- you own or have rights to the content
- the content does not violate laws or third-party rights
- the content is not harmful, abusive, illegal, or misleading
By uploading content, you grant PetMeeter a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and use the content solely to operate and improve the App.
We may remove or moderate content at our discretion.
6. Matching & Chat Conduct
Messaging is only available after a mutual match.
You agree to communicate respectfully and responsibly.
Strictly prohibited behavior includes:
- harassment
- threats or abuse
- scams or fraud
- spam
- illegal activity
- inappropriate or explicit content
PetMeeter may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these rules.
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:
- impersonate another person
- upload false or misleading information
- use the App for unauthorized commercial purposes
- promote breeding, selling, or trading animals commercially
- scrape, hack, disrupt, or reverse engineer the App
- violate any applicable laws
8. Location Services
Some features use location data to display nearby pets and users.
By enabling these features, you consent to location data processing.
You may disable location access at any time through your device settings.
9. No Professional, Veterinary, or Legal Advice
PetMeeter is not:
- a veterinary service
- a pet training service
- a breeding service
- an adoption agency
- a professional advice provider
The App only facilitates social connections between pet owners.
10. Privacy
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, process, and protect your personal data.
11. Intellectual Property
All App content, design, features, logos, and software are owned by PetMeeter or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the App without written permission.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
PetMeeter is provided “as is” and “as available”.
We make no guarantees regarding:
- uninterrupted service
- availability
- security
- accuracy
- error-free performance
- user behavior or safety
Use of the App is at your own risk.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PetMeeter shall not be liable for:
- user interactions or communications
- real-life meetings or activities
- pet behavior or incidents
- loss of data
- service interruptions
- indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Our total liability shall never exceed the amount you paid to use the App (if any).
14. Account Suspension or Termination
We may, at our sole discretion:
- suspend or terminate accounts
- remove content
- restrict access
for violations of these Terms or misuse of the App.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
In the event of significant changes, users will be notified within the App.
Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
